Enlightenment :Discover yourself

Subject: Philosophy

I am asked by many friends, what is enlightenment or self-actualization? If I know the person well, I guide him to chalk out his own plan to be enlightened. To people who are uncertain. I give parameters or offer some models based on philosophy and psychology.
One person's need may be different from another because the human mind is very complex in its demands. However, we need to surpass our present mindset and be something we want.

Nonetheless, change is happening now, you are changing but perhaps not as you would like to be. You perhaps need a plan for your journey towards what you want to be. That plan essentially connects to your psychological state and your mental conditioning, the fastest way to do this is Mediation which we offer for the proposed corrections.
I am an atheist, hence any Mediation I propose does not have any reference to a God or specific religion. Although being an Indian I may quote something from Atheist Indian philosophy. Let us begin: The search for the cause and removal of human distress is the concern of civilization from the days of organized religion to modern psychology.
Based on Existentialist philosophy. I will be taking the ideal model for a perfect human being from here

This model says that we can never understand a human being with his negative traits. For understanding a human being, we must consider his highest aspirations. Personal Growth, self-actualization, striving toward health, the quest for identity and autonomy, the yearning for certain Excellencies is the tendency of a person. According to this philosophy, each of us exists as a being-in-the-the world, consciously and painfully aware of the existence and eventual non-existence. We seem to have no existence apart from the world and the world has no meaning for us apart from the people who are in it. Existentialists say that a person is neither a product of genetic factors nor environmental influences; they stress the idea that ultimately each of us is responsible for who we are and what we become.

One's life is what one makes of it. The human tendency is to attain freedom and create meaning for survival. Each person is responsible for his actions and is a conscious agent experiencing, deciding, and freely choose in his actions.
Enlightened people can accept themselves the way they are. They are not very sensitive to their shortcomings, and weaknesses. These people do not feel undue guilt, shame, and anxiety-emotional states. They have good appetites, sleep well, and have fulfilling sex lives. They consider Basic biological processes like urination, menstruation, and growing old as human nature and accept these gracefully. They are spontaneous, simple, and natural. This does not mean that their behavior is unconventional. Their inner life (thoughts and emotions) is unconventional, natural, and spontaneous. Their unconventionality is not for impressing others and they can suppress it in order not to distress others; therefore, they may even abide by ceremonies and rituals. Thus, they may conform if it means protecting themselves. However, they do not hesitate to defy social rules when necessary.

Without exception, they are committed to some task, duty, vocation, or job that they regard as important. They are oriented towards problems beyond their immediate needs, problems for which they have a missionary zeal. They live to work rather than work to live; their work is a defining characteristic of themselves. The enlightened ones commitment to work is equal to a love affair. Self-actualizing persons need privacy and solitude and as they do not have a clinging relationship with others, they can enjoy the richness and fullness of friendship.

In social encounters, people often view them as aloof, reserved, snobbish, and cold. They do not need other people in the usual sense of friendship. As a result, there is a need for another level of encounter, that with the self. When they are alone, they are with their best friends. This is not narcissism. The enlightened can be alone without being lonely.
They remain calm and serene during periods of personal misfortune or setback. This comes in part from the tendency of enlightened people is to stand by their assessment of the situation instead of depending upon what the people think or feel about matters.

They are self- movers, resisting society's attempts to make them adhere to social convention. As characteristics already discussed would suggest enlightened ones are free to act independently of their physical and social environment. This autonomy enables them to rely on themselves.
They feel more in harmony with the world, lose their self- awareness or transient it, feel simultaneously more powerful than before and become less conscious of time and space. The peak experiences that really change a person come about when the person comes to some glorious insight as to the result of a year on a psychoanalytic couch. A philosopher who has been working for fifteen years at some problem comes to illumination. People through correct Meditation attain peak experiences.

They are creative in the true sense of the word. However, their creativeness is different from unusual talent or genius as reflected in poetry, art, music, or science. It is as the natural and instinctive creativeness found in children. This kind of creativity appears in everyday life as an expression of a personality that is keen, original, and simple.
They need not write books, compose music, or produce art objects to be creative. Nevertheless, in day-to-day activities, they are very creative.
This is a concise description of an enlightened person one from the perspective of Existentialist philosophy and the dependent humanist psychology.

With Infinite Love to all, I am

Free Will : Choose your destiny

Subject : Philosophy
The Universe does not have a purpose, it is purpose Free
It is a random event Nothing is clearly determined about The universe as our Cognitive sense is limited
Universe does not care about our existence when the universe or for that matter earth wants to
stabilize earthquakes and tsunamis destroy life. The universe does not give damn about us.
Our existence is Random too, species have disappeared en- masse in the past, it is going to happen to us too

One of the findings that say Universe looks like this but if space and time
happened after there formation Universe then perhaps we are aware
merely speculating, based on some things that we have found with our

The purpose is a concept that we have imposed on our self, but our language is limited, we are limited. Purpose lessness is present everywhere in life, we give purpose to somehow console our self
Things do not happen in a deterministic way but are a consequence of the complexity that exists in life and situations that are contained within and without. There is no fate no way to determine what may happen in the future we are left without our own choices which are prejudicial and come from value systems that do not have any justification.

" The more the universe seems comprehensible, the more it also seems random"

The evolution of species is happening, but it will not be of any use in the end as the species will end.
But we do have a life, an existence and we do not know of any life prior to our existence and we do not know if there is life after death. Life looks absurd or a cruel Joke we cannot know if there is a creator who is giving us proper assurance in our decision making. Death is certain and the sheer darkness or even the absence of darkness of death must make our life colorful.
We need to think only about our existence and our free will to live

There seems to be no purpose to life. An important aspect of existence is that of "becoming."  a person is never static he is always changing and is in the process of becoming a new person with the choices he makes.

Jean-Paul Sartre says, "Man is condemned to be free, condemned because of he did not create himself, yet in other respects, he is free because once thrown into the world he is responsible for everything he does. He further says, "God does not exist and therefore we find no values or commands to legitimize our conduct. Therefore, in the bright realms of values and commands we have no excuse behind us nor justification before us. We are alone with no excuses. “

As we started becoming agrarian, we needed organization, so we created a civil life with certain types of rules to live together, some of our free wills was lost. We had to adhere to some rules which were good for our betterment Then we started creating territories and lost our free will. Then Old ancient religions were created, free will was lost as we had to follow the religion and its principals.
Religions created some sort of Gods, remember this happened wherever civilization developed. Some Gods were benevolent, some punished for sins, some were like humans doing all sort of stupid deeds. Sin and Virtue differed in every civilization, there was no uniform code of conduct

Agrarianism made role create territories
and subsequent loss of free will,
Suddenly people started owning lands
Religion developed as a tool to manipulate society by people, they also created rituals which benefited them and satisfied the urge in human beings of getting something from God Civilization went berserk, wars started happening between religions and territories More people were killed in wars on religion than on territorial matters
Then there was an ideological revolution in 600 BC, in India Siddharth Gautama was born and then there ware others from the Shrmana tradition

Anekāntavāda (Devanagari: अनेकान्तवाद), meaning "non-absolutism," is one of the basic principles of Jainism that encourages acceptance of relativism and pluralism. According to this doctrine, truth and reality are perceived differently from different points of view, and no single point of view is a complete truth.

The word anekāntavāda is a compound of two Sanskrit words: Anekānta "manifoldness" and vāda "school of thought." The term anekānta consists of the Sanskrit negative prefix an, the number one eka and the word for "attribute," anta—"not of solitary attribute.
Mahaveera propounded the  "Anekantwad " which is by far the most mature ideology generated from India.

Treat those who are good with goodness, and also treat those who are not good with goodness. Thus goodness is attained. Be honest to those who are honest, and be also honest to those who are not honest. Thus honesty is attained-- Lao-Tzu China around 600 BC)

https://www.yourdictionary.com/lao-tzu

China Lao Tzu was born,. he gave us the Tao Te Ching which carried a mystical account of life.
These philosophers tried hard to make people understand the contingencies of religion and tried to show the true existential way.
For around 300 years after his death, Buddh was made God, though he himself was an atheist
Mahaveera was an atheist he was made into a God. This is what we do , make people GOds and forget their preachings

1. Your mind gets conditioned by the people who are around you you cannot avoid it, you were  and then they started filling your slate wit what they thought correct
2. You are born with pure consciousness but your relations, your parents, your peers, and your
schools make you mind conditioned
3. Till the time you reach an age of 12-13 you are totally bound with the ideas that were inculcated in you, you were born as a blank slate
4. You are given an identity of belonging to certain religion or ideology which your parents
follow
5. In school you are made to think in a certain way by your teachers, you learn science and your
conditioning contradicts it.
6. You get confused to the extent that you are lost.
7. You keep trying to get some sanity in yourself by the time you are an adult and free from
your environment but when you try to take any decision your conditioning comes into play
8. The Gist of all thee is that you are totally devoid of your freedom, you think only in the
way that you are conditioned to think, your child-like curiosity is gone.
9. You never learn to exercise your free will
10. You are bound to be noncreative.
11. You can be free on the day you feel you are. Your freedom will give you immense creativity
and satisfaction,.it will bring paradise in your life Due to the conditioning of your mind you get Flawed attributes in your personality because you have lost your free will.
Societies' degeneration continued and is continuing until now. This is all due to our collective conditioning of the mind

Look at these attributes that our conditioning imposes on us

Anger
If an expectation from a situation is not realized, the mind precipitates anger. We retaliate by being provocative or may become incommunicative.
Buddha has said that “ Anger is a poison pill which we eat and think the other person will die

Fear

The fear of society, the fear of parents and teachers, the fear of the spouse et cetera are the reason for Neurotic behavior.
Fear is a response of any being when its existence is threatened. The best way to conquer the fear of any situation is to face it without delay.
Fear is an enemy of free will, eliminate fear from your psyche

Greed

Greed implies that a person wants to have more than he needs.
When a person accumulates assets that are disproportionate to her need, she is robbing weaker people.
Greed has led the world to denigrate into several classes of people and has created division in the society. by removing greed from our personality, we are doing a great service to ourselves. or others

Guilt

We are often a victim of guilt. It comes as an excuse, apology for past actions. Guilt dominates because of subconscious learning to be manipulated by elders and operates when one has grown another type of guilt is the self-imposed guilt. This guilt is more complex. This is the guilt we impose on ourselves when a moral code impressed on us by the system and looks like we have broken it..
religion with its Ethno centrist and diverse ideologies creates guilt in people throughout their life. Traditional religious models and some people associated with it thrive on the feeling of guilt in people.
Let’s look upon guilt as a means of self-analysis, but not as our True Nature. Whenever we feel guilty, we must start contemplating our mind process. We should never exploit others by creating guilt in them.

Worry

Even though there is nothing to worry about, we worry about everything. Worrying will not change anything instead planning will at least change the future.
Worry helps in avoiding change; it is easier to worry than to change. A person who worries sits with a gloomy face and thinks, voiding action. worry results in nothing, most of the things we worry about will not happen.
Deliberately, we should choose to act in some manner where we meet areas of our worry. We should face the fears we have.

Self-Hatred
We may suffer from a disease called low self-esteem. The society teaches us that we should not love ourselves. The society preaches; think of others, do service to others, live for others, love thy neighbor, but loving yourself is a sin.
In reality, love for others is directly proportional to how much we love ourselves
Love is the ability to permit those whom we care to formulate their own value system, without putting any condition to satisfy us.
We should find all that we do not like about ourselves. We should make a list of these characteristics and know, what we have inherited cannot change, only accepting it is going to keep us happy. If we have parts in the body that we do not like we should make changing them as a goal.. We should express our love to others. and Stop equating with them

Jealousy
When we are jealous, we are comparing our self worth with someone else When we are jealous, we fail to recognize the uniqueness of the other person and become a victim of self-defeating thoughts.
Jealousy further debilitates us when It becomes a by-product of the inferiority complex. We can conquer Jealousy when we start loving ourselves and appreciate our achievements however small they may seem to be.
Self-love is the answer to the emotion of jealousy
False beliefs

Our parents give false beliefs to us; subsequently, school, religion, and we self create defeating beliefs. When we describe ourselves, we call ourselves as shy, nervous, clumsy, and forgetful et cetera, often by the judgments of other people. To my mind religion is the major contributor to all the false beliefs that we accumulate about society and ourselves. Religion puts us into a slot where immobility of our psyche is preordained.
Ethnocentrism is the view of things in which one's own group is the focal point and we rate other people concerning it. Most groups promote their pride and ego centeredness and boast themselves as superior to the others. They eulogize their blessedness and look down upon others with despise. Every group thinks its customs or belief as to the right one and since other groups have their own beliefs and customs, all of them admonish each other.

We carry the dirt of our flawed attributes and someone borrows it from many of us and becomes very dirty and commits a crime.
Murderers, cheaters, rapists, pedophiles, and many more criminals are actually a part of our society we have so many flowed attributes, that the criminal gathers such attitudes more than anyone else and commits the crimes.
His conditioning is worse than us, but he is the part of the society, he is from among us
If we remove our flawed attitudes, we can form a society which is free of such people and a free society will be free of justice systems that are created to deal in a hypocritical way
I will give a simple example here. Mahatma  Gandhi was a staunch supporter of nonviolence. He was assassinated and the Justice system gave a death sentence to his assassinator and killed him. Mahatma's ideas.were not followed in the nation that considers him its father.

Cioran in Romania.jpg

“There is no other world. Not even this one. What,
then, is there? The inner smile provoked in us by
the patent nonexistence of both.”
― Emil M.Cioran

There is no external God found except the evolutionary process within us; our moral
conduct should be the product of our conscience. We should reject external factors that judge
moral codes and liberate from the shackles of the society that sub-ordinates your
independence and never succeeds in making you happy.

Wipe what all was written by others and wipe what all you have written derived by the way they wrote it. Become a clean slate and then write your most lovely story. Remember it can be done only when you have Free will to take decisions.
You can become a clean deconditioned mind only if you practice meditation
